Joe Ryan is a Principal at ACRE Solutions, where he helps lead the firm's LP intermediation practice across open-end and closed-end fund vehicles. Mr. Ryan plays a senior role in all advisory and capital raising engagements, overseeing the underwriting and valuation of direct real estate transactions and driving execution from origination through close. Since joining ACRE Solutions, he has been instrumental in sourcing, negotiating, and closing multiple billions of dollars in secondary transactions while fostering meaningful relationships across the industry.
 
Prior to joining ACRE, Mr. Ryan was a Senior Analyst at Arbor Realty Trust, a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trust managing a service portfolio of over $26 billion. Arbor Realty Trust is a direct lender, providing loan origination and servicing for multifamily, single-family rental (SFR), seniors housing and other diverse commercial real estate assets. While at Arbor, he worked with one of the company’s highest-producing loan origination teams which closed over $2 billion worth of loans during his tenure.
 
Mr. Ryan has also previously held positions with Marcus & Millichap and Grant Thornton. He brings over 7 years of institutional real estate experience to the team. Mr. Ryan earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and a minor in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
