Prior to Vandever Capital, Wes served as Head of Capital Markets for Amherst Residential, the single-family rental funds managed by Amherst Holdings, LLC. During his tenure at Amherst Residential, the firm completed ~$3.1 billion in single-family rental transactions. His investment banking career also includes ~$1 billion in equity recapitalizations for financial institutions seeking a third-party capital infusion in conjunction with a sale of distressed assets.
Wes has secured the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation for commercial real estate professionals, sat on the Board of Economic Advisors for the International Council of Shopping Centers (“ICSC”), and co-authored a whitepaper entitled “Myths and Realities of Investing in Distressed Commercial Real Estate” with CBRE’s Global Chief Economist.
