Stan Shelest is a Senior Director at ACRE Solutions responsible for sourcing and marketing advisory and capital raising engagements, as well as underwriting and valuing direct real estate transactions. Shelest is also involved in the intermediation of LP positions in open-end and closed-end fund vehicles. Prior to joining ACRE, he was a Partner at C6 Real Estate where he participated in principal investing and Park Madison Partners where he undertook advisory engagements including the recapitalization of almost $1.5 billion in transactions.

Shelest previously spent 8 years at Colony Capital, a publicly traded global real estate and investment management firm with over $43 billion under management. Mr. Shelest was previously a member of the investment team at NorthStar Asset Management, a publicly traded REIT acquired by Colony Capital.

Shelest has over 15 years of institutional real estate experience involving more than $4 billion in transactions including the acquisition of large portfolios of limited partnership interests on the real estate secondary market, fixed income securities and the structuring and sale of nearly $1 billion in real estate debt securitizations. Mr. Shelest earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a minor in Finance and Accounting from New York University.
